Donation for face shield production
We also joined the face shield production effort and provided for use a Prusa i3 MK3S 3D printer and donated Verbatim filament for printing as well as APLI films. The Zvane Črnja High School in Rovinj / Scuola media superiore "Zvane Črnja" Rovigno has shown great heart and started producing face shields with a 3D printer that will first be donated to local healthcare professionals.
Although the school has been carrying out this idea since the very start of the pandemic, we have joined the action as additional support. This 3D printer model prints reliably and the printing takes a little over an hour and a half, and it has earned numerous awards. With Verbatim filaments and APLI transparent foils, face shields will be produced that will help healthcare facilities, with the aim of protecting staff. We are proud to have the opportunity to be part of this noble story of Rovinj's high school and to make the local community safer.
