Fabriano It has nurtured the tradition of creating the finest paper for 752 years. The company's origins date back to the distant year 1264, to a time when the most renowned artists used Fabriano art papers. One of them was Michelangelo Buonarotti, who praised Fabriano products and wrote (and drew) on them an irreplaceable chapter in the history of humankind. Today, this brand is indispensable not only in the artistic segment but also in the office.
This brand has also stood out in the office assortment with its notebooks and paper for photocopiers. The Eco Qua line of notebooks in multiple formats and styles is suitable for every office or business meeting, and it is distinguished by its quality and environmentally friendly paper. In production, chlorine is not used, and they are made according to all standards of forest protection. The photocopy papers are made from cellulose with FSC certification as well as with Long Life certification (ISO 9706).
Fabriano not only one of the oldest brands in the world, but also the founder of many modern production processes in the paper industry, such as watermark technology, hammer paper, or the technology of using gelatin in paper glazing.
In 2002, Fabriano becomes part of Fedrigoni group which marks a new milestone in the modernization of production, new investments and the use of renewable energy sources.
With six production plants, a wide range of products spanning from ordinary paper and paper packaging to the most extensive range of art papers, Fabriano is today the most prominent European producer in the field.
